SwitchBOARD
Manufacture & INSTALLATION
Corsence were engaged to design, construct and install new distribution boards for a local shopping centre. To facilitate this we obtained the propriety switchboards through our partners at Controlling Power Pty Ltd, whom we work closely with day to day.
The switchboards contained a split lighting and power section and provision for separate metering in the future whilst accommodating for the current incoming supply meter to be re-installed.
See switchboard fit out and installation images.

switchBOARD UPGRADEs
CUSTOM DESIGN & manufacture
Designing and constructing customised switchboard solutions is embedded into Corsence's personnel history. To minimise downtime and provide an easier and quicker installation. custom switchboards are often preferred.

The switchboard in this particular project supplied a commercial kitchen and therefore shutdown time had to be kept to a minimum. Corsence designed the new metalwork around the existing enclosure and implemented terminal sections at the top and bottom for ease of cutover.

Designing switchboards in this way is a challenging and rewarding exercise and our staff take pride in delivering a quality product.
POWER FACTOR CORRECTION
rectification works
During testing and maintenance of the Power Factor Correction Unit in October 16, Corsence reported on some electrical and safety concerns from previous modification works. These were addressed as shown in the below images using custom made plastic shields and separation blocks to suit the existing installation. Technicians also removed redundant control cabling and terminated cabling in use to a terminal block.

The associated works provide an increased level of safety and compliance as the they plastic shield provides protection against inadvertent contact with the incoming busbars and the blocks firmly secure the bars, reducing the risk of an electrical fault.
